Speaking & Workshops
Talks on Money, Meaning & the Art of Enough
Every talk shaped to the room and the people in it. Built on twenty-five years inside financial services and a body of work on what it means to live a wealthy life.
The Approach
What These Talks Do
Some corporate speakers leave a room feeling good for twenty minutes, but then the energy fades before people have reached the car park.
I try to work differently. The sessions that I deliver are built around ideas that create friction, and challenge commonly held assumptions about success, money, performance, and what it takes to live a wealthy life. I try to leave people thinking and feeling differently, and aim to make that difference last.
With over twenty-five years in financial services, growing and selling businesses, well over a decade of leadership, and my own personal burnout and rebuilds, all of my material comes from lived experience and from having done the human work that matters.
What I Speak On
Four Areas, One Body of Work
Every keynote is built from the same foundation and shaped to the room it goes into. Below are the four areas that my work draws from, and most events end up sitting across two or three.
Area 01
Real Wealth
The framework that most wellbeing strategies are missing
Real wealth lives across six dimensions: Financial, Physical, Mental, Social, Time, and Meaning. Some people who feel wealthy on paper might be running close to empty in other areas, whilst some people who feel poor financially are richer than they realise once the full picture is drawn. Talks in this area give an audience a way of seeing where they actually are, where the trade-offs have been hiding, and what changes when the idea of wealth stops meaning one thing.
Used most often by: corporate wellbeing teams, People & Culture leadership, HR conferences, away days.
Area 02
The Conscious Currency®
Money psychology for living better
The methodology behind the book Money, Meaning & The Art of Enough. Leaning on over 20 unique frameworks including the Money Characters that shape financial behaviour and Three-Colour Spending that helps identify the unconscious spending patterns. Talks in this area help people understand why they make the financial choices they do, and what becomes possible when a new relationship with money is developed.
Used most often by: financial services firms, professional networks, employee wellbeing programmes, member events.
Area 03
What Enough Looks Like
The conversation successful people rarely have
Sometimes people experience a version of success that delivers the thing and then leaves them confused about what next, so they just keep on pushing. Talks in this area sit with the question of enough, the idea of the never-ending chase and all of the territory around it: identity after achievement, the cost of the climb, what changes when you stop confusing more with better.
Used most often by: senior leadership teams, business owner groups, executive away days, founder communities.
Area 04
Built in the Dark
What men are not saying about money, work, and meaning
Most men learn a way of relating to money, success, and silence that isn't healthy. These talks for men include the idea of what competence and responsibility means, how to handle pressure and struggles, and what it takes to be a balanced, successful and modern man.
Used most often by: men's employee resource groups, male-dominated industries, leadership programmes for men.
